Parameters Tracked

Circuit Information

  • Equipment / circuit name (e.g., Pasteurizer, Silo 1, Filler A)
  • CIP start time and end time
  • Operator name

Pre-Rinse Step

  • Water volume used (L)
  • Final rinse water turbidity
  • Duration (minutes)

Caustic Wash Step

  • NaOH concentration (%) — measured by titration or conductivity
  • Temperature (°C) — measured at return line
  • Circulation time (minutes)
  • Pass/Fail against target

Acid Wash Step

  • Acid type (HNO₃ / H₃PO₄ / Citric)
  • Acid concentration (%)
  • Temperature (°C)
  • Circulation time (minutes)
  • Pass/Fail against target

Final Rinse

  • Duration (minutes)
  • Final rinse pH (must be 6.5–7.5 before resuming production)
  • Turbidity

Sanitisation (if used)

  • Sanitiser type and concentration
  • Contact time

Verification

  • Swab test / ATP test result (if used)
  • Supervisor sign-off
  • Time equipment released for production
